Tips for Greener Events

I am arranging a bridal shower for a good girlfriend. I got the pretty letter pressed invites that matches her wedding colors of pale pink and mint. For the first time, I've decided to make my events a bit more eco friendly and here is a great way to start ~ on the bottom of the invite, I had printed" for a greener event, please bring your gift unwrapped!". Wrapped gifts completes the idea of your brilliant gift, but the papers get tossed anyway. What ideas do you have to make your events more earth friendly?
